Not far from Sugny, you can discover the village of Semide. It is 2km from this small village labelled 4 flowers, that you can observe the remains of a German navy cannon. More precisely located in the place called "Noue Ramon", this gun was discreetly transported by the Germans in 1916. An artillery piece normally intended for the navy, this gun was hidden by the surrounding vegetation at the time. From its location, it fired a total of 25 long-range shells on the Champagne front. The site has been classified as a historical monument since 1922.
