This war memorial, built just after the 1st World War, uses the triumphal arch as its focal point. Marble plaques with the names of the deceased engraved and gilded can be seen on the pedestals. The dates of the war are engraved and gilded on the transoms. On either side of the arch, black-painted wooden plaques bear gilded wooden decorations. Then, on the arch, marble plaques bear an inscription in gilded engraved letters. At the centre of the arch is a large medal made of fabric and gilded and silvered metal, representing the Croix de Guerre. A combination of mural painting, marble work, foundry and fabric, this work measures almost 8m wide and is very well preserved!
