The Collegiate church is opened all year long.If you want to visit it you have to ask the keys of the church at the Val d'Ardenne Tourist Information Centre (Vireux-Wallerand) - Place du château.

The Saint-Ermel collegiate church has been found in 752 by Dame Ada under the protection of Pépin le Bref, the father of Charlemagne. The edifice contains representative furniture of the Italian Renaissance and several gravestones. You will also discover a crypt from the Romanesque period with blue stone columns, a magnificent series of 16th century polychrome wooden statues. The collegiate church is open to visitors: pick up the keys at the val d'Ardenne tourism office.
