Le Relais de Poste de Launois has been listed as a historical monument since January 1, 1994.
It was built in 1654. This exceptional site, considered unique in France, comprises several buildings: a main building, stables, a coach house, a sheepfold, a wine press, and more.At the time, it facilitated the exchange of horses for travelers and the delivery of mail between Paris and Sedan on the route that also passed through Charleville-Mézières; it was open day and night.
