The EDF Power Plant
Hydraulic Operating Group
Since 1976, when it was commissioned, the Revin-Saint-Nicolas Pumping Energy Transfer Station has been producing clean, renewable energy. Flexibility and performance are the assets of this station which, in two minutes, and this by decision of the Nancy control station, can make 800 MW available to the Very High Voltage network in the event of failure of a major conventional power plant. The EDF Hydraulic Operations Group of Revin-Saint-Nicolas (G.E.H.) relies on the professionalism of its 30 operating and maintenance staff to constantly improve the adaptation of production to customer consumption. In this way, it contributes to the supply of quality energy as part of its public service mission.
An environment conducive to walking: marked footpaths around the basins (whitaker basin; marquisade basin)
