Overlooking the Andaine forest, La Pommeraie is set in acres of gardens, orchards and woods, close to the historic town of Domfront en Poiraie in Normandy. Our 2 bedrooms are on the 1st floor, facing south. To optimize space and comfort, the 2 rooms are separated by the reading room where you'll find a selection of refreshing beverages including tea and coffee for you to consume. You'll also have access to free wifi and the opportunity to take a stroll in the natural surroundings. The Poirier suite is decorated in a harmonious palette of restful colors with matching linen sheets. This room is the largest of the 2, with a large window offering superb views of the Andaine forest. It retains its original features, including high ceilings, an authentic fireplace, chandeliers and a huge decorative mirror. In the bedroom, you'll enjoy the luxury of an extra-large bed with a top-of-the-range mattress, cotton sheets and a comforter and pillows adapted for comfort in summer and warmth in winter. The private bathroom features an Italian shower. Bathrobes, fluffy towels and fine toiletries are provided. Inspired by its clear, country setting with its multitude of broad-leaved trees and south-facing, wooded backdrop, the garden exudes a fresh, airy air and is decorated in a restful monochrome of hues. The 2nd bedroom has an extra-large bed with luxury cotton sheets. Both the bedroom and bathroom have high ceilings and parquet flooring. They are furnished with classic furniture, decorative cornices and chandeliers. The bathroom is equipped with an Italian shower and combines modern comfort with the character and history of the house. Enjoy bathrobes, fluffy towels and refined toiletries. All of which contribute to creating a calm and relaxing space. If you want to relax and enjoy mindfulness, our charming neighbor Raphaël is a yoga teacher and we have lovely spots where you can choose to lay down your mat for a wonderful private session.
