Le Moulin l'Abbé - Maison de la Haute Sèvre

In a water mill dating back to the 11th century, a flour mill was installed in 1920. Its ingenious mechanism on 3 levels is registered in the inventory of the Historical Monuments. The building houses a collection of minerals explaining the formation of the Earth and a collection of 100 radio sets from the 20th century. The Rosières room evokes this unusual tradition, still alive in La Mothe Saint-Héray, with the singularity of a public celebration organized around a real wedding.
