MUSEE DE L'HORLOGERIE

Description

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of timekeeping in the heart of a genuine workshop dating back to 1898, which has remained in its original state. A veritable showcase of our heritage, this place tells the story of 150 years of watchmaking, from Émile Girard's first creations to the Lussault family.

Here, more than fifty clocks - from traditional mechanisms to more recent models incorporating electronics - invite you to explore the technical evolution driven by the passion and expertise of local craftsmen.

Established in the very workshop where the clocks destined to equip bell towers, railway stations and public buildings were made, the museum offers an authentic immersion in unique French know-how.

Visits, by appointment only, are an opportunity to discover these sophisticated mechanisms, carried by the lively ticking of the cogs and the echo of an industrial heritage. It's an exciting sensory and cultural journey, to be enjoyed alone, with the family or in a group.
