The village of Chenaud is located in the north-west of the Dordogne. Its main originality lies in its 8 km of banks along the Dronne. The river is accessible in many places, much to the delight of anglers.
In the center of the village, the Romanesque church is the commune's finest heritage feature. The town council is keen to enhance its small-scale heritage by restoring the wash-houses in the village and hamlets.
