Communal chestnut grove

The communal chestnut grove is located on the heights, offering a panoramic view of the village of Collobrières.
A panoramic view over the village sublimates this 5000 m² chestnut orchard (Castanea), emblematic of the Maures tree, as the commune's territory includes 900 ha of chestnut groves.
This plot was used as a test, from 2008, for the first severe pruning and selection of shoots as well as for various grafting training campaigns.
It is bordered by the botanical trail that leads to the ruins of an old mill in the wind, passing two oratories dedicated to St Pilon and St Pons.
