Description
La cathédrale a longtemps été en ruine et délaissée. Victor Hugo l'a remis au gout du jour dans son roman Notre-Dame de Paris avec Quasimodo qui meurt d'amour pour la belle Esmeralda. C'est l'architecte Viollet-le-Duc qui se chargea de la restauration en 1843.
