Vivy has managed to preserve its heritage while evolving with the times. The 19th-century church of Saint-Eusèbe bears witness to local history, while the old tufa mansions are a reminder of the typical architecture of the region.
Thanks to its proximity to the Courcy forest and the banks of the Loire, Vivy is an ideal starting point for walking and cycling tours. Nature lovers will appreciate the diversity of the landscape, with meadows, woods and vineyards.
Vivy also has a more unusual heritage: the equestrian statue "Archeval", overlooking the A85 motorway. This monumental statue is the work of sculptor Christian Renonciat. This gigantic silhouette of a horse, made from an assembly of metal tubes, symbolises the arrival of Saumur, the capital of horse-riding.
