Musée du Filet brodé et perlé

Net lace embroidery, known as artistic net, built the reputation of the small character town of La Perrière between 1850 and 1950. Pearl lace was very popular during the inter-war years. The great Paris fashion houses, like Paul Poiret, sought their supplies from La Perrière.
