La Taverne du Grec is well known in Sambreville. For about fifty years, the Tzicas family has been sharing traditional Greek culture through their dishes and wines! Their success has grown over the years, and in 2024, Vasilios Tzicas, known as "Coco," opened a second establishment in Tamines: "Le Petit Grec", serving lunch specialties.Before or after enjoying the famous Tzicas lamb skewers, you can explore the Totemus of Tamines, a discovery trail based on the tragic Massacre of August 22, 1914. This route begins at Saint Martin's Church and the Cemetery of the Executed, both located about a 10-minute walk from the restaurant, as well as from Tamines train station.
