For about fifty years, the Tzicas family has been delighting the people of Tamines with their traditional Greek cuisine. Building on this success, Vasilios Tzicas from La Taverne du Grec decided to open a second restaurant: Le Petit Grec. This new establishment is located in the former Le Petit Bruxelles bar, a well-known landmark in the region. This bar even lent its name to the Société des Gilles et Pierrots du P’tit B, whose members used to gather there in the evenings. Before or after savoring the famous Tzicas lamb skewers, you can explore the Totemus of Tamines, a discovery trail focusing on the tragic Massacre of August 22, 1914. The route starts at Saint Martin's Church and the Cemetery of the Executed, both located about a 10-minute walk from the restaurant and Tamines train station.
