Journée Internationale des Forêts

For the 6th year, the Office National des Forêts and the Biotopia team are joining forces to organise the International Day of Forests in Pays de Monts!

Come and discover the secrets of this forest of over 2,200 hectares, the result of pine plantations carried out in the 19th century to stabilise the dunes.

On the programme: guided walks on a variety of themes, hikes, children's workshops, a treasure hunt, a mountain bike ride, a trail, and even the presence of the fire brigade for a joint event with the ONF's DFCI department (Défense des Forêts Contre les Incendies).

This year, woodcarver and storyteller Paul Corbineau will be on hand to explain the anatomy of wood and tell us some stories.
