Description

The Le Val d'Amby restaurant offers 2 gourmet settings: a bistronomic table for lunch during the week and gastronomic cuisine for lunch and dinner.
In the kitchen, Dominique Grisoni, Maître Restaurateur, creates a creative menu that reflects the seasons.
Located in Hières-sur-Amby, less than an hour from Lyon, Le Val d'Amby restaurant invites you to discover authentic, refined cuisine full of character. In a warm setting, two dining rooms welcome guests for a gourmet experience, complemented in fine weather by a pleasant flower-filled terrace.

The menu changes with the seasons, with a gastronomic menu available for lunch and dinner, and a bistronomic menu served for lunch on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Fresh produce, generous plates and meticulous presentation delight both regulars and visiting guests.

Chef Dominique Grisoni, Maître Restaurateur and member of the Toques Blanches Lyonnaises, has almost 40 years' experience in the kitchen. A native of the Var and Compagnon du Tour de France since 1989, he has forged his style on his travels in France, Switzerland and Italy. His cuisine is modern and creative, but always respectful of local produce. His signature dish, the Lamb Mouse, is a must-try for even the most demanding palates.

An artist at heart, Dominique also expresses her sensibility through painting. Her watercolours, inspired by her career and the landmark establishments of her career, decorate the walls of the restaurant, adding a personal and artistic touch to the culinary experience.

Le Val d'Amby is a must in the Balcons du Dauphiné, where you can savour sincere, inventive and generous cuisine in a convivial setting.

Host portrait

After many years learning his trade in several regions of France as a Compagnon, Dominique Grisoni has enriched his cooking with memories of his travels in Switzerland and Italy. Originally from the south of France, he remains deeply attached to his Mediterranean roots. His inventive cuisine makes the most of the region's finest fresh produce, while adding a subtle, personal Provençal touch. Dominique Grisoni likes to switch from the stove to the paintbrush, and his talents as a watercolourist are a perfect match. His canvases representing all the establishments on his career path hang in the restaurant's 2 rooms.
