La Base Guinguette

Conceived and run by Maïwenn and Franck, La Base Guinguette is a warm, family-friendly summer venue on the banks of the Chapelle lake, a stone's throw from Talmont-Saint-Hilaire castle.

Come and relax, enjoy the music, share a meal with friends or simply enjoy the sunset in a friendly, no-fuss atmosphere.

All summer long, there are almost 60 concerts and evening events on the waterfront, with live bands, blind tests, karaoke, dances, entertainment and festive get-togethers. The spirit remains the same: simple, human moments, and a guinguette designed for everyone.

The home-cooked, local cuisine is prepared on the spot, using fresh produce and paying real attention to quality. Here, we serve and clear up as if we were at home: a participative approach that is part of the identity of the place, promoting proximity, conviviality and respect for the natural environment.

Between two songs, you can enjoy outdoor games (pétanque, cornhole, mölkky, darts, etc.) or relax by the water.
The site has a large free car park, a bowling green, shaded areas and facilities designed to welcome everyone in the best possible conditions.

In 2026, a number of improvements have been made to improve traffic flow and make the experience even more pleasant during the busy summer months, without ever losing the guinguette spirit of sharing, simplicity and good humour.

Open from 1 April to 30 September 2026, La Base Guinguette lives to the rhythm of the sun: on sunny days, the site comes to life; when it rains, the guinguette simply takes a breather before reopening as soon as the sun returns.

It's a lively, sincere and cheerful place, where every visit feels a bit like coming home.
