As soon as you arrive, your eye is drawn to two superb 16th-century altarpieces, embedded above the entrance door: a sculpted testimony to the faith and art of yesteryear.
Inside, the emotion continues with a delicate 15th-century Madonna and Child, accompanied by statues of St. Nicholas and St. Barbara. The elegantly crafted pulpit completes this spiritual setting.
To the right of the church, don't miss the 16th-century cemetery cross. On its shaft, the outraged Christ is striking in its intensity. The calvary, although partially erased by time - the Virgin and St. John having disappeared - retains a touching Virgin and Child on the reverse, the ultimate call to contemplation.
