Église Saint-Sulpice

Description

Immerse yourself in history with a visit to the Aroffe church, built in the early 16th century and completed in 1528, as evidenced by an ancient glass roof that no longer exists.
Surrounded by its former cemetery, the church's harmonious architecture features a rectangular floor plan, a majestic bell tower to the west and an elegant pentagonal apse to the east.
Inside, let yourself be captivated by the light-filled nave, adorned with superb Gothic windows. Their delicate fillings, composed of three-lobed lancets topped with a variety of motifs - quatrefoils, speckles, drops or three-lobes - offer a refined spectacle to every eye.
