Le belvédère de la Carrière Barrois

A fantastic viewpoint in the heart of a protected area, the belvedere is a must for any walk or hike in the Barrois quarry. The quarry is classified as a ZNIEFF (natural zone of ecological, faunistic and floristic interest) where protected species find refuge. It is a place of both peace and grandeur: the variegated sandstone rubs shoulders with the blue of the ponds and the emerald of the wild flower meadows. The surrounding Warndt forest is classified as Natura 2000.
