Adonis

Cutting the stems, changing the water in the vase. Watching the Adonis smile and wither.

Through an installation combining painting, ceramics and various objects, Gaelle Loth takes us on a journey through an acrylic garden.

It's a bed of fake flowers, a delicate perfume, a spray of "summer mood". Adonis is a ravaged plant, a parasite of the harvest, Adonis, with its bright red ruff around its neck, is a parade creature, tainting unstable hearts. Here, Adonis is a reconstituted Eden, a fable with blurred contours, a sentimental bouquet, a last inner garden.
