Once upon a time in Saint-Michel Chef-Chef, in the heart of the Pays de Retz, there was a master pastry chef called Joseph Grellier. He had the secret recipe for a round, crunchy, golden galette. His wife, Constance, had the idea of selling these succulent galettes during the summer to the "belles dames" of Paris. With growing success, Joseph opened his first bakery-pastry shop in the centre of Saint-Michel-Chef and it's still here today that you can enjoy it!
