Espace Naturel Départemental : le sentier de l'Argousier

A great family day out! In alluvial plains, this trail called "l’Argousier" in reference to sea buckthorn, a species of tree that is widely present there, provides a 2.9 km loop to immerse yourself in the natural environment and has a stunning view of the Normandy Bridge to top it off… The trail is listed a "Sensitive Natural Area" by the Eure Department.
It is an unusual trail to explore because it takes you sometimes through the forest, sometimes through clearings… It is a sandy habitat, which is rare in this area.
Sea buckthorn is a shrub that produces small orange berries widely used in medicine.
