The Artist and his approach...

Laurent Lafontas did his postgraduate studies in Plastic Arts at the University of Toulouse. He has explored various topics and materials: drawing, modeling, sculpture, video and animated film.

After a period of figuration in the study of the body and facial expressions like an architect of the human soul, he now juggles with abstraction, geometry and the organic, questioning dynamism, innovation and sustainability.

He is also environmentally conscious and ethically oriented, assembling different metals together and using recycled materials, those being the starting point of his creations.
