Description
Le lit de la rivière étant empierré, cet aménagement permettait aux charrettes de franchir le cours d'eau. Les gros blocs de pierre installé par la suite, permettent aux piétons de traverser eux aussi le Thouet. Ce moyen de franchissement bucolique et typique de la région a souvent été aménagé aux abords d'ancienne chaussées de moulin à eau.
