During the year 1868, the protestant community decided to built a Church.
This Protestant Church was built in a new district in progress after installation of railway.
The simple and modest place to pray was fastly too small. It is because, after the annexation of Alsace and a part of Lorraine in year 1871, 10 000 emigrants among whom numerous Protestants come to settle in Lunéville.
Nevertheless, the edifice was not enlarged. Only the little gallery of the Church was made twice and extended.
In 1970, for the Centenary of this Protestant Church, the original stained-glass windows were replaced with new ones.
