Le Village du Livre

Fontenoy-la-Joûte book village welcomes thousands of visitors every year. 8 second-hand professional booksellers, a calligrapher and artist have transformed the old farms into shops, which house hundred of thousands of old books as well as second-hand books for every budget.
This typical Lorraine village dating back to the 12th century has a population of 280 inhabitants and is situated 10 minutes (by car) from Baccarat, crystal town. You can see Saint Peter's chapel (13th century) in the village which marks th line between the Paris basin and the Vosges massif.
