Town hall
Description
The city council used to get together in a market building in the middle of Raon l’Etape. This place that used to be a covered market was in poor condition, the administration of François Dubois decided to demolish it in order to build a new one. The aim was to build a town hall with a covered market in the basement and a granary for a grain shop upstairs. Its VIP room shelters a unique collection of 12 paintings which represents old Raon and recounts the forestry logging and log driving in the 18th century.
