Fort fermont and the maginot line

Fermont, the unvanquished fortress, is one of the large forts on the Maginot Line. The visit takes more than 2 hours, by small train and on foot, sometimes at 30 metres below ground and at other times at ground level. In fact, you will see an artillery fort on the Maginot Line that has remained unchanged, with its equipment, underground layout and weaponry. New: a museum covering an area of more than 1,000 sq. metres focussing on the Maginot Line and the troops of the fortress. The remarkable collection of weaponry and equipment is shown at its best in numerous tableaux.
