Monument aux Morts 1914-1918

In 1923 the War Memorial 1914/1918, made of pink Vosges sandstone, was inaugurated.
This Monument is located on the Place du 86ème R.I., in front of City Hall.
This work is by architect Deville, the bronze sculptures are by Vallin. Composed of a fine quality hemicycle, the central column is surmounted by a lantern of the dead. On the openwork central part are inscribed the names of the 350 dead of Baccarat, victims of the 1914-1918 war.
