Pedagogical orchard

Open to all and more particularly to schoolchildren, the community educational orchard is an old orchard that extends over 3000 m2. Located on the communal banner of Jolivet, it is representative of the orchards of Lunévillois, made available to the intermunicipal community by the commune, it shelters about thirty apple trees, pear trees, plum trees, cherry trees, quince trees and walnut trees. Orchards are inseparable from the traditional image of the Lunévillois and its market gardening past.
A real educational tool, it is also a witness to an era when production served local needs.
Every year, supervised by specialized animators, several hundred children walk through the "Joli verger" to discover ordinary biodiversity and the local landscape or culinary heritage.
