La grande fontaine

Looking for peace and quiet in the Anjou countryside? Then the gîte La Grande Fontaine is just what you're looking for! Located in Nueil-sur-Layon, this gîte is perfect for large families or gatherings of friends of up to 8 people.

Set in the heart of the Layon vineyards, it's the perfect opportunity to discover this mellow wine. The owner, a retired winegrower, will be delighted to welcome you and share her knowledge with you, as well as taking you on a tour and tasting in the cellar. A stay at Neuil-sur-Layon will be the ideal opportunity to discover the tourist gems of our region: Doué-en-Anjou and its Biopark 10 minutes away, Saumur and the banks of the Loire 30 minutes away, Angers and the Terra Botanica plant park 50 minutes away, and the Puy du Fou 1 hour away. The Layon valley, with its many walks and magnificent scenery, is also well worth a visit.

On the ground floor, the gîte comprises a cosy living room with fireplace, including a lounge with TV and dining area, a spacious, fully-equipped, separate kitchen and a small shower room with WC.

Upstairs, three bedrooms: the first with a double bed (140cmx190cm), a single bed (90cmx190cm) and a cot, the second with a double bed (140cmx190cm) and a single bed (90cmx190cm), and the third with two single beds (90cmx190cm). Bathroom with bath and separate WC complete the first floor.

Outside, you'll find everything you need for meals in fine weather! In a small enclosed courtyard with flowers, garden furniture, parasol and barbecue to make the most of the sunshine. A little extra: a playground and sports fields (tennis...) with free access 500 metres away.

Private parking (for one car). Pets accepted with €150 deposit.

Included in the rental price: fibre optic internet access, wood for the fireplace. In addition: electricity above 8kwh / day (current EDF rate), heating (electric).
