The gîte ⭐️⭐️⭐️de la Vieille Autise is a beautifully renovated 19th-century house nestling in the heart of the Marais Poitevin in Maillezais. It will charm you with its poetic garden and its access to the river, as well as its decor, where old, modern and works of art come together in cosy, spacious spaces.

Boats, canoes and bicycles are available to help you fully discover our magnificent region and its sunny climate.
This 130 m2 house can accommodate up to 8 people. It is adjoined to the gîte du petit sauvage and forms part of a large farmhouse, while remaining independent thanks to its stone wall. However, if you wish to rent both, it is ideal for large family or friendly gatherings in an idyllic setting.

This stone house is cool in summer and well heated in winter with its central heating and wood-burning stove. On the ground floor there is a separate kitchen and WC. The lounge with table football and dining room offers 60m2 of space overlooking the 400m2 garden.
Upstairs, a landing leads to a bathroom with bath, double washbasin and separate WC.
A large landing/living room with library and board games is the centrepiece of 3 beautiful bedrooms.
The first has 90x190 bunk beds and a 140x190 bed with large built-in wardrobes. The second bedroom has a 160x200 bed and large built-in wardrobes. The third bedroom has a wooden finish, a 140x190 bed and a wardrobe.

The outside area has been laid out for a real holiday feel, with garden furniture, a barbecue, a swing, a hammock, a deckchair and a large garden table. You will also have access to a petanque area, various games, boats, canoes and bicycles.
