In the Middle Ages, the Lacelle church belonged to the Solignac abbey and was dedicated to a Limousin saint, St Junien. The current building dates back to the 13th or 14th century. The nave's vaults have collapsed (traces of tearing are clearly visible), but those of the choir span remain. The keystone is carved with an image of a bishop blessing, perhaps St Junien. Capitals with hooks and balls. Western portal with Limousin-style frieze-chapiteau, two-bay bell tower-wall.
