Museum of folk arts and traditions in the heart of the village.
Created in 1937 by Louis Cadis, the museum occupies the "Maison Braneyre", dating from 1753, close to the 19th-century church. The museum preserves local archaeological research, recounts regional history: paper archives (old books), paintings and engravings, photographs, and bears witness to old customs and trades in the Bazadais region through furniture, costumes, traditional objects and tools.
Classified as a "Musée de France" for the richness of its collections, the Musée de Villandraut offers themed temporary exhibitions to complement the permanent exhibition of folk arts and traditions.
