Musée de la Bazadaise
Description
The Château de Roquetaillade museum preserves the rural memory of the Bazadaise region. It complements the visit to the château and introduces you to country life and its evolution from 1850 to 1950. Discover the farmhouse, its décor, its tools, its smells, its endangered farm animals (Bazadaise cattle, Gascony chickens and pigs, Pyrenean donkeys), the wine storehouse, the 12th-century dovecote and the bread oven. This farmhouse is a marvel of authenticity and culture, for young and old alike.
