Liverwort, 50 shades of purple

Anemone hepatica or "Herb Trinity” is particularly remarkable by the purple color of its petals that can vary depending on the various plants. We can observe some liverworts and their deep purple color while others have a very light pink, almost white, color. The leaf has three lobes that gives it a shape close to that of a liver and is a good way to remember his name: liverwort. It is used in decoction for its diuretic properties.
