Orpierre: the steep village

The village of Orpierre nestles at the foot of a set of cliffs equipped for climbing and therefore contribute to the reputation and attraction of this village for some thirty years. Since the 80s, the Town hall of Orpierre supported and coordinated the development works of these limestone walls for the practice of sporting rock climbing and great ways. This challenge has paid off by giving a dynamic economic activity to this little village that is recognized today as a major international climbing site!
