DAY 1
Arrive in Sainte-Mère Eglise in the morning and visit the Airborne Museum, dedicated to American paratroopers. After lunch, guided tour of Utah Beach and Sainte-Mère-Église: you'll learn about the operations carried out by American units on this seafront, as well as the parachuting of the airborne divisions dropped around Sainte-Mère-Église.

DAY 2
Morning guided tour of the D-Day Museum on Utah Beach. The museum is located on the very spot where American troops landed in Normandy on June 6, 1944. The star of the museum is an authentic B26 bomber aircraft on display in the hall, accompanied by two flight simulators. After lunch, guided tour of the Azeville Battery to discover the life of the German occupation troops and their relationship with the local population. Then on to the Mémorial de la Liberté retrouvée in Quinéville, a modern museographic space evoking the daily life of the population under the Occupation.

DAY 3
Morning visit to the D-Day Eperience in Carentan: this new-generation museum offers the chance to climb into the cockpit of a real 1943 C-47 aircraft for a flight simulation that is unique in the world. The day continues in Cherbourg with a visit to the Musée de la Libération and an underground tour of the Batterie du Roule.

DAY 4
Guided tour of the Avranches and Mortain area. Learn about the decisive "Avranches breakthrough" led by General Patton. The liberation of the town at the end of July 1944 enabled the Allies to open up the western front and prepare the Mortain counter-attack. The tour ends with a visit to the Saint-James American cemetery, a moving tribute to the sacrifice of our liberators. Return to your hotel.
