Périgord farmhouse - Renaissance and 19th century.
Frontenac limestone and asteriated limestone.
This six-window farmhouse is built on two levels, covered by a high roof. The perigourdine-influenced roof is composed of small flat hooked tiles with coyaulure. The eastern facade overlooks the Dordogne hills. Around a courtyard, buildings of different periods and alignments enclose the ensemble on three and a half sides. To the west, the square portal and pedestrian gateway, molded with Renaissance cornices, are the remains of a former porch. They are followed by an old, much altered courtyard. On the east side is a Renaissance barrel cellar, with a wide door crowned by a basket-handle lintel and tampe, dating from a later date. Various buildings follow, including a hangar, a shed...
