Paul Bert School - 1907 - Stone.
Architect: Georges Darfeuille.
After the demolition of unproductive abattoirs, the project to build this school took shape in 1903. In 1905, a decree from the Ministry of Public Instruction authorized the construction of a 6-class school for boys and girls, in accordance with the laws of Jules Ferry. Housing was also provided for the principal and his assistants. New classrooms were added at a later date.
