Château Blanchet - 19th century - Asteriated limestone.
Château Blanchet consists of a two-storey main building clad in classic Bordeaux-style tiles and flanked by two pavilions. The three-storey pavilions feature Mansard-style roofs with terraces, breakwaters and coyaulure. A vast 17th- and 18th-century farmhouse adjoins the rear of the château. It includes a barn-stable, framed with gabarre beams and ribs, and a wine-making cellar, equipped with a vast crusher on rails running from one vat to another, a wooden press and a hydraulic pomace press, operated by a locomobile. The bread oven, plum oven and forge were housed in the same building. Two wells supplied the castle and farmhouse, each equipped with a ram and water reserve.
