Des Marques Templières" lintel - 16th and 17th century - Castillon limestone.
The hamlet of Gouzourde was home to a number of ancient architectural features, many of which were used to pave roads in the 20th century. This lintel decorates a window that probably dates back to the Renaissance. According to tradition, the signs carved in relief are the marks of the Templars. A number of houses in the township are engraved with curious figures, which are not assimilated to the marks of tacherons. The latter are less well known, with 173 different marks for Saint-Ferme Abbey alone.
