Maison Chevalier - 19th & 20th century - Asteriated limestone.
In the Middle Ages, an outpost, or ford, was set up on a site. The knight's mission was to warn the neighboring castles, built on the Despondé and Durèze valleys, of the possible arrival of an enemy troop. One of these knights went on crusade to Jerusalem with Pierre l'Ermite, along with other knights from Caumont and Rimons. The Maison Chevalier is a farmhouse in the "coucoute" style, but completely transformed in the 19th and 20th centuries. The two elm trees in front of the building, around 350 or 400 years old, have been preserved from the destruction that affected this type of tree in 1985.
