One end of this tub is cut at an angle, forming a wash bench. Oxen and horses come here to drink, and the mistress of the house, her maid or a washerwoman visit every fortnight. The trough is located on one of the highest points in the village, close to the well. The well's curbstone is 0.86 meters high, and the drawing depth, calculated from the curbstone to the water, is 7.92 meters. The water reserve between the surface of the liquid and the bottom of the well is 5.63 metres, with an outside diameter of 1.71 metres.
