Monastère de Coyroux

600m from the town of Aubazine lie the remains of the Coyoux women's monastery, abandoned in 1791. All that remains are the ruined walls of the church. However, excavations carried out on the site between 1976 and 1989 have enabled us to reconstruct the layout of the monastic buildings and identify the major transformations they underwent over the centuries.
