Eglise Saint-Jean-Baptiste

The parish of Brousse depended on a commandery of the Order of Malta (Saint-Romain-en-Gal) and probably previously on the Order of the Temple. The church, surrounded by a cemetery, has been completely rebuilt. However, under the bell tower, the 13th-century portal of the original church has been preserved. It features pointed arches and colonnettes. The frieze of capitals on the left features a well-preserved female head. The procession carrying the statue of St. John the Baptist to the fountain still takes place on his feast day.
