Now place of residence of the subprefect, it is one of the oldest hospital foundations of the town.
Even though its origins remain obscure, the text mention it for the first time in 1992, year during which it belonged to the Knights Templars of Robécourt.
At least partly rebuilt in the 16th century, it underwent major alterations in the 18th century thanks to Hénin Liétard. The left wing and its interior decoration probably date from that time.
The hospital is sold as national asset in 1793 and was bought by the department in 1823.
