The Musée de la Vigne et du Vin (Vine and Wine Museum) is an educational tool that bears witness to the tradition and renewal of winegrowing, and is an invitation to discover the products, landscapes and architectural heritage of the Lower Auvergne vineyards.
Witness to tradition and the winegrowing revival, the museum showcases the skills and objects characteristic of the late 19th to mid-20th centuries. Housed in cellars dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, visitors will discover a room showing a reconstruction of the vine's growth cycle over the course of a year, followed by a display of the winegrower's tools, a cooperage workshop and a real vat room showing the various stages in the wine-making process, from harvesting to bottling. Temporary exhibition on wine and oak.
Free of charge.
